Joy’s Café Challenge 🌻
The goal of this challenge is to have a self-sufficient “café” at your farm, but you can only make money from ingredients and dishes on your menu.
Requirements to complete the challenge:
- Cook and sell at least one of each dish from your menu with ingredients you’ve farmed, cooked and prepared on your farm. Find menus to choose from below.

Only make money from menu dishes and their ingredients.
RULES:
- You can only sell ingredients from dishes on your menu, like eggs, rhubarb, sugar etc. and the cooked dishes on your menu.
- You can also sell menu dishes if you find them somewhere else, yay garbage cookies!
- It's okay to get your coffee from the coffee machine and fruit from the cave.
Balanced (original) mode:
- In the balanced mode you need a Mill, Kitchen and to repair the Bus Stop (or get Rhubarb & Beet seeds from the Travelling Cart.)
- Balanced menu requires you to farm ingredients for, cook and sell: Cookies, Chocolate Cake, Rhubarb Pie and Coffee or Green Tea.
- Money you make from completing quests or opening mail should be used for decorations on the farm or buying hats. You decide what to do with the starter money.
- You can add Bonus Dishes to your menu (check below). N.B.: If you sell ingredients from one of these dishes you also need to cook that dish and sell it at least once to complete the challenge.

Stretch goals:
- Prepare and decorate your café in a shed or greenhouse.
- Make your bakery into a cat café by having at least 5 cats on your farm.

Casual mode*: Switch to the Casual Menu. You will need the Mill but can use a Cookout Kit instead of house upgrade (skip repairing the Bus Stop). Optional what you do with quest/mail money.
Limited Mode**: Switch to the Limited Menu. You are not allowed to add any additional bonus dishes to this mode.
Advanced mode***: Switch to the Advanced Menu. Balanced mode rule applies but you also need to complete the two stretch goals mentioned above.
Unreasonable mode***: Switch to the Unreasonable Menu. Balanced mode rule applies but you also need the Community Center and Willy's boat. Additionally, you need to complete the two stretch goals and display your entire menu somewhere on/in your farm.
